haha yeah, Actually I haven't been following any structured sequence along the way like I thought, just worked on what I was excited about at the time, but for a solo project I think that is the way to go! ( while the enthusiasm is persistent ) but most of the things I have tackled so far have been the easier part, after messing around with code I kinda have seen what the time consuming parts will be the maps and storyline, I don't want to re-use much of the maps through the game just because I think it would be more of a progression through different streets/buildings/towns to try and find other people still alive right... I don't know... like I said I am a big survival horror fan and I have had a lot of ideas through the years. i almost hate how tainted the themes of zombies have become. I love the george romero films back in the day, actually i thought the remake was pretty good too(-fanboy-) hah.

lol, I know right!!! any suggestions?? every once in a while i try to make something and its... well... not a work of art to be kind to myself. Anyone interested in a small project ( 10-15 characters , under 15 sprites each) is more than welcome! :) Maybe your post was a nice way of saying you want to do it?? HAHA! I just don't really know anyone that is into pixel art. The good thing, unless I'm mistaken, is that it is something which can be picked up later if I get all the basics down and all, maybe be easier when it is more impressive that a mappy example..

The good news is that I'm learning at least a little bit about development and coding, a -hobby- group project would be nice at some point.

Yeah! that whole cd is awesome. When resident evil 1 first came out I used to listen to it to lighten the mood because I was like 9 and got scared haha. So now whenever I hear it I think of that.

So I got some art finally, thanks to LusikkaMage. Its on her art page http://openart.moosader.com/ although I did add the last 4 death sprites. Also added enemy collision and death sprite based on shot location. Not much updated but wanted to show the sprite sheet. Thanks Moosader!!

Oh yeah, totally forgot about that. I'll do such things for next sprites, possibly tonight or tomorrow or Friday.

updated a lot of the interface and added a pause menu (basic look). Added accuracy based on skill, enemy health and bullet damage values skill-based, as well as multiple map support.

Thanks!
