After seeing everything that people around here say about dreamcast, I actually want to buy one...

The only thing I worry about is that most of the really good games for dreamcast cost a lot of money because they're "collectable" now

The Dreamcast is great, although both mine are pretty much dead now, I really got into UnrealTournament for it, wipes the floor with the PS2 version, used to play it split screen with 3 vs 3 bots. Obviously there's Quake3 Arena too, that is one hella pretty game on the Dreamcast, smooth as hell and great graphics, it's like the DC was made for it.

It was great when the DC was choking a few years ago, used to buy games for a couple of bucks - wish I'd bought more and looked after them better. I made the mistake of keeping the discs in a wallet thing, then we got this puppy, who chewed it to shreds and gouged and cracked all the discs. It's ok though, the dog died and I discovered torrents, homebrew, and Quake ports for the DC.

First console for me was the N64. So many great memories on that thing (I still play N64 nowadays). Another memorable console for me was the PS1; those two consoles were my childhood.

The first console I ever remember playing and having a great time was the Dreamcast. Back when dial-up was fast (lol), PSO was THE BOMB! :D

First console i ever had was the super nes and the nes and thats because my parents had them before i was born and i played the shit out of those things for ever!!!!
