Also, I'm not complaining that it makes the "game" too hard, or that the players are even difficult. I'm just complaining that my favorite race, zerg, is at a disadvantage.

That's why I've been playing alot of Terran lately. ;p

Ahh! I really want to get it, just not sure if I really want to spend 60 dollars. Also, the only computer I'd be able to play it on is my Macbook Pro...

Do any of you know if I'd be able to play on medium settings with the following:

MBP 15 Inch Unibody
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53 GHz
4 Gig RAM
Nvidia Geforce 9400M with 256 Mb.

I'm not interested (and know its not possible) to play on super ultra amazing graphics, but I just want it to be playable on something like medium or low without too much of a lagggy framerate. Is this possible?

Yeah zerg aren't zerg anymore.... it makes me sad. but w/e it just makes pro zerg games more interesting to watch

Totally agree with you there. I'd like to try it out but it's just too damn much money for one game. Diablo 3 is the only game I'd spend more than $40 on without a care in the world.

Went to GameStop, the guy there said that they are only selling copies to people who pre-ordered(silly me, probably should have thought of that).

I decided to digital download it. Its 179 Mbs out of 6.99 Gbs. Haha, I have 4 hours left. But, its worth it.

Also, I'll go ahead and edit this post with details of how it runs on my computer for anyone who is interested. Just my luck: I have to go to work right around the time this finishes downloading.

EDIT: My connection deteriorated. Only about halfway done and I have to go in 10 min. Whatever, I really hope Blizzard Downloader is smart enough to pick up where I left off when I get back home.

ah that sucks.. have you guys seen the guide? I thought about picking it up at walmart, but it was 25 dollars where as all other guides were 15-20 lol

After watching some pro games with zerg, I've refined my strategies...And haven't lost since. :P

Yes, they're definitely not the same as SC1. But still very, very enjoyable.

Though I do find I have trouble against Terran if they Mech rush. =/

I just played a good 4 hours with the game. It is AMAZING.

For those of you on the fence: I just pushed you off. Onto the greener side. With copies of StarCraft II.

Seriously, it is amazing. For those of you interested I can get up to medium with no lag and high with a little. Ultra isn't playable.

lol I saw that the other day, and yeah I played the beta, and am DIEING to get the game and also, marcel here's a good strategy guide, its taken from a site, but IDK which one... IDK where that torrent is, but I can send you the pdf if you want, or you can just check this site out... So I'm so fucking pissed... I have to share this with you guys. I just played a game... a good long game. So I was zerg. The opponent terran. My opponent has only played terran seven times. He knows no other race... so he says. I pretty much believe it. I had 6 bases... all but two... I crushed his expo later in the game. He then proceeded to destroy me. This pissed me off, I have the replay and highly encourage you guys to say you want it so I'll put it up. This has to mean that Terran is OP come on now. I guess brood lords would have worked. But my amount of Ultras should have DESTROYED HIM. He had to have no minerals or at least no gas. ONE TO TWO BASING THE WHOLE GAME VS SIX! wtf

oh yeah he had no air, and he held off my damn mutas because of fucking thors.

Edit: starting to watch the replay, the game is an hour and eight minutes long

Edit++: I guess I didn't get as many upgrades as I could have, but STILL this is dumb considering I had most of the bigger upgrades

Edit again: God fucking terran. lol. I guess the real reason terran are so hard to beat is that to destroy them as zerg you need to micro, and have a decent unit mix. If I had hydras plus lings, and a couple Ultras, granted the ultras weren't focused down, which any decent player would do, I probably could have won, but this is still kind of imba if you ask me...
