Final Fantasy XIV
Ok, so all this talk in the Final Fantasy XIII thread has gotten me really excited for Final Fantasy XIV. It's in closed alpha testing right now but supposedly Square-Enix will be opening up more beta invites in the near future. Get yourself signed up if you haven't already. This game is looking to be leaps and bounds greater than XI....

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
I thought the beta had already started. Or at least the first round of beta invites already went out.
I'm already signed up. Really want to get into this beta, so I can drop my FFXI account already.
Actually, I'm fine with XIII for the moment, I don't need to be hooked on two FF games at a time. So in like two weeks or so, then I will be really itching to start playing this game. Damn you, Square!

Doubt it. https://dev-na.ffxiv.com/ubbthreads.phpmattheweston wrote:Looks like I'll be playing FF XIV tonight. =)
I'm quite sad about this. Really looking forward to actually getting to play with some of my FFXI crew, and now we gotta wait longer.
But as long as they get their shit fixed by Sep 22nd, it's fine by me. I've had it preordered since long before it even had a release date.

Square doesn't give ETAs, they just tell you when it's done.mattheweston wrote:Any ETA on when they will get it fixed?

Bitches. They delay it for a day for bugs, then their servers can't handle the applications. Fail.Square Enix wrote:Applications for the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test have been temporarily suspended. Please wait until we are ready to accept new applications and then try again.
