Played it yesterday for like a whole day - oh god, I felt sooo unproductive >:
But the game is great and has an awful lot of content (I mean, really, really an awful lot)

Re: Terraria
Seriously, this game has robbed me of ~20 dev hours. It's that good. It has that perfect mix of creative freedom and RPG addiction (finding epic loot, discovering hidden locations, etc.).

Re: Terraria
After reading all these great replies I figured what the hell, I'll spend $10 to check it out.
Terraria is SO much fun. It's a great 2D adventure with some decent art and spriting and a ton of exploration to do.
Maybe we should start an ES Hamachi network?

Re: Terraria
The game really is nothing like Minecraft. OK, so you can dig and build in both games. There is definitely that overlap, but Terraria a loot-centric RPG complete with BOSSES. Minecraft encourages more creativity and focuses on the sheer joy of building things.

Agreed. It reminds me a lot of Dig Dug, lol.TheBuzzSaw wrote:The game really is nothing like Minecraft. OK, so you can dig and build in both games.
