Poor devshed
I'm surprised to only see one other Eclipse user, I'm definitely not surprised by the VS users
I've been having some minor issues with Eclipse with it liking to freeze up after I minimize it for a while, but nothing else here interests me. I don't like Code::Blocks interface and I usually use VIM a lot, but I can't use it for bigger projects, I usually just use it for whipping up smaller things. I used to use Xcode 3.2 for C++, but the syntax highlighting was absolute shit for C++ and it would never find the appropriate methods and what not with classes.
I don't really like the list honestly, because I can only vote for one. I chose VS2010 because I use it most often, but I also Notepad++ and Vim regularly for various other things such as web development.

Yea quite frankly I use Notepad, Eclipse and Photoshop to develop just as often as VisualC++, and you're thinking "Uhh photoshop isn't a coding IDE" I use it to create my websites and layout designs, then just cut out features. So I consider Notepad and Photoshop together to be a great IDE for me xD. I use eclipse for developing a server administration program for my tablet. It sorta works now.

I use VS2010 for c/c++, Notepad++ for web development and Eclipse at the moment for Java. I've just started a CS degree so I have to (re)learn Java but I'm also doing a fair bit of c/c++ on the side. My personal favourite is Visual Studio.

I suppose if I was to go professional I would invest in a professional version anyways.
Where did you see this? Express can and has been used for commercial projects.
Are you kidding me?? All this time using Code::Blocks because I thought Express didn't allow you use the executables for comercial purposes...
Excuse me, seems like I have to visit the Microsoft Servers...
PD: Eclipse FTW!! The only reason I won't use it is because I had a lot of problems getting CDT to work... but for Java affairs it's my best card.
