Oh, I didn't realize they were the same character, i guess I'll start on a different one then.... Is there any type of character in particular that you would like to see? Also, what did you think of the tree?
Re: ES:art production
i would like to see anyone's take on a merchant whether he sells potions or armor
Re: ES:art production
Like any other person here after hearing that ES is hiring I thought id at least have a crack at some pixel art (failed of course). But here is my attempt on what I think some sort of weapons/armor merchant would look like.

FF7 joke.... It looks like your guy has a huge slash through him and hes bleeding alot. Im not trying to make fun of you or anything, so dont be discouraged, pixel art isnt easy, my first attempt was far from a masterpiece.
Re: ES:art production
Haha.. I see what you mean. Im a muso so I dont really care, twas just having a mess around. Most of my graphical art is for GUI/interfacing and stuff.
Re: ES:art production
I'm kind of curious as to the overarching setting and how it influences the art style. That kind of thing has a pretty big impact on the aesthetics of the game and I don't recall it being elaborated much in the past. It may also help to provide some examples from other media to show where you guys are getting inspiration.
Re: ES:art production
dcrui3 do you mind posting some of your Ui stuff and any other artwork you created i am still interested in wat you got to show
Re: ES:art production
Sure, I will have a look through my hard drive and see what I come up with. Ill upload whatever "Good" art/designs I find to deviant.
Re: ES:art production
Hey, been following ES for a long time but I'm new on the forum. And I cant find any threads or sections where you's post artwork pixelart/levels ? I seen the art style thread and hear about the art in the livestream, but never see any besides whats shown in toolkit,do you have any info on the concept of characters or levels etc on the forum.
The programming stuff is awesome, but I like art too.
I'm new to the forum maybe I just cant find it. Help anyone?
edit: I found a few here http://elysianshadows.com/dev/project/b ... r-concepts

The majority of what's been created can be found in the project blogs where you've linked to: http://elysianshadows.com/dev/project/blogsMMoebiusX wrote:Hey, been following ES for a long time but I'm new on the forum. There may be a few things here and there in the forums, but there are no topics in particular that I can think of. Also check out the live stream topic which was recorded last night for the latest updates on what's been going on.
Oh, I almost forgot, we have a Facebook group! https://www.facebook.com/elysianshadows
Check the photos section there for a bunch of other random postings.
