I haven't visitted this site in a while but when I came back, boy was a I surprised. Pretty much a bunch of developers decided to strip the entire Doom Engine and completely remake it into a badass nostalgic 3D sonic game. They've even added in NiGHTS themed stages (where if you become super-sonic you can fly through stages through the perspective of NiGHTS into Dreams)

they also added in massively online servers you can host as well as giving you guys the complete capabilities of re-editting this game to your heart's content. The stages the original developers have made are very impressive.

I personally would love to have seen Sega do something like this themselves back in the Sega Saturn days when they pulled the plug on Sonic eXtreme. I would loved to have seen this :D lol
