Possibly, you'd have to do some research on that. Some PC manufacturers use an ATX variant which limits people from upgrading, assuming you're replacing the motherboard + PSU it may work.

I'd look online for info on upgrading using the sepcific Gateway case you have, my best guess is that it won't work for you.

It's absolute shit AND it's already over your limit.

Go with what you got.

i talked to the guy who owns the computer store, and he has a case for 30. I don't need anything special. If I can get a good deal on any part there, I will. He's a good guy and I would like to give him business if possible.

Case, fine, but buying a PSU from there would just be retarded.

Cases are just personal preference.

I will probably get a better case at some point, but for now, I don't see that as necessary.

The only real draw there I think is the quad core. I sell computers with 3gb memory, a 19" bundled monitor and a 500 gig hard drive for ~700 on sale. You're paying 59 shipping on that, if you missed it.

Nothing spectacular. That one was a Dell, and I work @ Staples. We had that machine normally 899 and 150 off for two weeks. It's been phased out to be replaced with nothing (yet), at least, at my store. Otherwise, HPs around the same stuff.

Okay, whatever, but get the PSU I listed otherwise you could very easily have problems.

well, there has been a set back.

I'm 14 and not old enough to get a job at most places. I have to rely on others to pay part. The person I assumed would pay the half I couldn't pay at this time decided they wouldn't. I can get 325 as of now, but that isn't enough. I will probably just have to wait until my birthday, in July, then gather money and buy one then. Though, I could have even more money by then for it.
