Okay, so I'm looking through wikipedia to see what the longest lasting console is since Dreamcast has lasted for 8 years in Japan. Check wikipedia. It says 1998-Present.
I look at Third Generation (late 8-bit era) and see NES has lasted (in Nigeria) from 1990-Present. 16 years.
But...Don't think that this title was taken so easily. The title actually belongs to Master System. 1989 - Present in Brazil (which I believe would really qualify more as a gamer country than Nigeria) 17 years bitches. Damn, and I thought 8 years for Dreamcast was awesome.
