my schedule for next semester.

Random irrelevance that just didn't fit into other forums. Talk about anything.

What the hell major are you? And how did they let you into discrete structures if you're still doing algebra? XD

My major is computer science with a emphasis on object oriented programming my minor is math (I just declared it the other day though). Im getting a bachelor of arts and then im moving to japan.

The reason I did discrete structures first is because I couldnt get into college algebra my first semester because it was full so i asked my advisor if i could be in his discrete structures class. Im still in it but so far im passing.

p.s. I have your youtube vids to thank for getting me interested in programming. I never knew what computer science was until this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0B6Gbsu3N0.

The most religious class I took in college was Art History. I actually learned way more about the history of christianity than I did art.

The word 'Religion' Doesn't even come into british institutions at degree level (the only time when you're forced to study religion is when you're in school, about 1 once a week, probably a bit more if you go to a catholic school)

Unless of course you want to study religion...

Most good universities provide you with facilities so that you can socialise, or in some cases, practice your religion (There was a university I visited that did have a chapel, but that was mainly because it was a purpose built campus in the middle of nowhere, where you had to get buses to town)

It just seems like a completely different world ;)

I think I can program pretty well, it's my compiler that needs convincing!

And now a joke to lighten to mood :D

I wander what programming language anakin skywalker used to program C3-PO's AI back on tatooine? my guess is Jawa :P

Universities that were originally founded in the US on a religious base still have a mandatory religious class, generally. They probably used to have more.
Ones that offer large amounts of no-repayment-required student aid typically fall into this category.
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.
