PS2, PS3 homebrew and the like...

Post by gamenovice »

Hello all,

I was wondering where to find the toolchains and/or sdks for the PS2 and/or PS3 since everywhere I tried to go(yes I searched google so dont answer me with that)

If you have any links to provide me with(as well as tutorials if there are any), I would be mighty grateful.

ThankYou.

Yes, you double submitted. But there really isn't a PS3 Toolchain that can get you as far as you want, unless you get Sony's SDK( You would have to be a licensed developer).
http://psl1ght.com/ <- That is a PS3 Homebrew SDK

There is a PS2 devkit/toolchain but it is pretty hard to learn and requires a lot of work, and probably a modded PS2 to run anything on.

I'm not exactly sure where to find it, but honestly Google is your friend. (Despite you saying you already searched, that is how anyone would find it). ***Hint: "PS2 Homebrew SDK".
