Alrighty, so I kind of splurged this week and spent a lot of money... but then again, what's the point of making engineering money if you can't blow it all on video games?
I purchased two very rare items for my Dreamcast collection. I have almost every single DC peripheral, and a whole bunch of rare imported games from Europe/Japan (Including Shenmue II). This particular peripheral is extremely elusive and was only released in Japan. It's called the "Dreameye" and is essentially what Sony copied when they tried to make the Eyetoy (the Dreameye is better). I can't wait to interface with the fucker and do some camera devving for it on the Dreamcast. It's an essential piece to any hardcore Dreamcast collector's collection:
The game it comes with (only game to ever support it) is also band new, factory sealed. It's called Visual Park.
The second purchase I made was Samba De Amigo V2K. I've loved the original ever since I first got a Dreamcast. Version 2000 is an upgrade that was only released in Japan (the Dreamcast was pulled off the American market before it could be released over here). I've played and beaten it before (through shady means), but I've never been able to get my hands on the elusive GD-Rom. For those of you who have played the original, this is a GIGANTIC upgrade with probably twice the amount of music and new/refined gameplay mechanics.
Both of these are being imported from Japan, so it'll take at least a few weeks to ship. Until next time, gents.
