You don't EVER become one.

It's not like admin-ism is a job that is just handed out so that you can mistreat it like moderator-ism. (which won't happen again)

To be an admin? Dear god, you have to comit your life to TheChaosRift and its causes, you have to somehow donate your time and/or programming expertise to its cause and its success.

I had no clue that he was even interested in holding any position of power whatsoever.

He used to be a moderator but I didn't think he really even liked that.
