Marauder, you've got nothing to worry about, you're an admin and thus do not have to earn 1337 points. If you'd like to, however, I'll add your name to the list and calculate your points.

And yes, I'm adding those as soon as I get on the phone with Showdin and decide on an amount.

The basic formula for 1337 points is this:

Classic ness (1-5) + (time needed to beat (hours)) \ 3 + difficulty (1-4) + Other (-4-4)

classiness: How classic the game is. The original Donkey Kong would score a 5, Yoshi's island would score a 3.

time: The time in hours needed to beat the game the first time through without cheats, strategy guides, or prior knowledge.

difficulty: Yes, I know it's hard to fit a game's difficulty in a 1-4 scale, but tough shit. Don't rank games 3 all teh time because it's not the hardest game in the world. I'd give Super Mario Bros. 2 a 4, and Mario 64 a 2.

other: Here is just a place to look at the final score and decide if it's okay. If you end up earning 10 points for three level Donkey Kong, you make other -4.. If you get 7 for a long ass RPG, you make other 4. But remember, the scale for other is -4-4

I have not played many games, so if someone would like to rate some that I forgot and send me the scores for reviewing, I'll post them. Basically use the above 1337 Point formula.
