Hello everyone,

I joined this forum about a year ago with the intention to learn C++ and make games. Well that never happened however I'm back with an even more burning desire to learn how and am determined to make some good games. I'll probably be around here a bit more from now on. I re-learnt C++ in about a day and have picked up SDL fairly quickly, as it's not a hard api. This is basically my first attempt at a game (I made pong in a day but its not great (neither is this one (yay for brackets!))) and I'd kinda like to show it off a bit. Took about a week and a half to code (most of that was slacking :D) and is made with C++ and SDL.

Yeah I could have made it better and didn't use all the sprites I had but I'm getting kinda tired of it and have other projects/things I'd rather code, so you can spare me the "You should always finish what you start" lecture. This was made purely for educational purposes and not for entertainment :P . All the art was done by http://sp534.deviantart.com/ so many thanks fly out to him . Also, I had the intention of releasing the code with this but it's turned into a complete mess and I REALLY cba fixing it </lazyness> :D

Hopefully it'll work on everyone's pc. I have it tested on xp and my artist on win7 but if it doesn't work then sorry. So here's the link I know you've been dying to get.... not

Briliant mate, and props on helping me get out of studying for the accounting competition for 10 minutes xD

just kidding I liked it, it was a little slow paced, but fun, and I now want to make an intense shooter with bullets flying everyone, and enemies all up in your grills lol
