Re: Pirate Game
Torque Game Builder is more about make it more simple and less coding right? If thats the case then I dont really want it. I like to do everything my self. I did a huge misstake making the game in Blitz3D and not BlitzMax. If I would do it in BlitzMax the game would be playable at Windows, Mac and ...

Re: MusuGo 0.5 --> Moose Tiles
I used C# once to make a CRC based Patcher that would check against files in a given directory via HTTP and download only what was needed. It also downloaded and displayed patch notes. It was my first time ever using C#, and I created it within a couple of hours in a trivial amount of code. I had al...

Re: PrototypeD
Thanks for all the replies! Yes, it is a Tower Defense game. I'll be updating this thread soon with more information and screenshots. The game has changed a lot since that pic.
More info coming soon... maybe even a beta.

Re: Pirate Game
Hi, Christer. That game is pretty cool! You should think about purchasing a license to the Torque Game Builder. It is a very high end 2D game engine! Regardless, your game has a lot of potential. You should check out the forums at http://www.garagegames.com, you could probably find an artist willing...

PrototypeD / TerranCore [ Updated: 5.29.09 ]
Updated: 5.29.09 Thank you all for the great feedback! The game has changed immensely since the original screen shot. I have a few screenshots of the current state of the game below. I also must ask another very important question... If you were browsing around on the net and came across this game,...

Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
Blizzard has references in World of Warcraft for every game that they have created(and possibley worked on?). I can't find the url where I found this information, so don't hold me to it, but as far as I know the only reference to R&RR is a dwarf named Olaf somewhere around Uldaman(I think). Oh, ...

Re: Games you'd like to see remade (or demade?)
The game I would like to see re-done is Chrono Cross. It was an alright game, but I think it was a horrible sequel and did not follow the underlying mechanics of what made the original, Chrono Trigger, such a great game. As far as demade goes, I would say Runescape. Being one of the original 8 peopl...

Pick your favorite game genre and then make as basic of a game as you possibly can.

Whoa, thought I was subscribed but I guess not. Naw, its cool, my apologies. I really haven't been around here long enough to do any shameless self promotion. :P I guess technically this thread could be considered spam, but really I just wanted some views and maybe some feedback. Most of the updates...

Oh yeah, here is a link to my myspace album for PrototypeB. I have some screenshots demonstrating experimentation with my weapon system. I generally post the most recent screenshots there first before anywhere else. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=4...

Re: PrototypeB
Hi guys, thanks for the kind words! I experimented with some different view angles, but since the game is not true isometric, any angle creates some imbalance in the gameplay. Basically the player is able to see further in one direction, but less in another. And since there can be a massive amount o...
