Re: CPU issues[OPENGL][SDL]

Hi, May this help increase speed: 1) Use vertex array instead of using glBegin(type); list_of_vertex; and glEnd(); 2) Load and set your tileset texture before and not inside your drawtile loop; Well, this has nothing to do with speed, but if you thinking about porting your code to Android or iPhone ...

Re: Notebook for programming (Help)

The main problem is that I need a Laptop to take with me to work and school, and I need some space in my bedroom too. :)

I'm afraid that this Processor Celeron 900 will not work very well with C++, SDL and some SQL DATABASE programming.

Re: Hitting a brick wall.

Hi, PS: I'm not C++ programmer, I just convert a C code to C++! I always like to do this: #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <cctype> using namespace std; int main () { char Key[] = "APPLE"; char Input[80]; do { cout << "Guess my favourite fruit? "; gets_s (Input); fo...

Re: Buildeft2D Beta release [Cross-platform Win32 and Mac]

The nilObjectException (most likely) means I was trying to access something prior to its initialization. That's entirely code related and shouldn't be an OS issue. I'll see if there was something wrong with the version I uploaded... Has anyone else tried downloading it and is running into that prob...

Re: Buildeft2D Beta release

When I Start the Editor, It gives me this error: An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down. Did you move it outside of the original folder? Make sure the buildeft2D libs folder is in the same directory as the program, along with the resources folder. I...
