"No, I wasn't [a child]. I distinctly remember putting a hat on top of my head. Look at your short little arms -- there's no way you could reach!" -paraphrase of Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka
I realized the moment I fell into the fissure that the book would not be destroyed as I had planned.
Come come come now, Wutai, I'd have thought you'd detect the sarcasm in an instant.
*Yoda voice* Learn to use sarcasm, you must! *followed by the crunching of a rather large sammich*
As for illustrating children's books...That's pretty kewl. I wouldn't have the skill for that. We were assigned to do so at school last year and we all sent our work in for publication...And, fortunately, I don't think the teacher read mine, because it had profanities that most children shouldn't hear. I just don't have patience or skillz for it.
Post some of your work; eveyone else seems to have a random 'post artwork' craze going on.
Once I do something decent I will. Plus I've gotta clear the pile of crap off my scanner, which I'm not even sure is in working condition. I'll get one up eventually though.
This is a joke about unfunny jokes. And bad use of irony.
i acctually illustrated a children's book once.. okay like a PG13 kid's book. i would deffinatly show you guys pics but i don't think holding it up to the monitor would do much. boohoo.
:luigi:
i don't have web came + scanner gadgets.. this was my 9th grade english comp. project. it does have errors in it, but don't let them distract you from my 'illustrated pages'..
