I personally think FLCL is the greatest anime ever.

A friend let me borrow it the other day. That is great. Yeah, I had a rough time following it most of the time, but it was funny and the music was just plain awesome!

What is cooler than an anime chick beating people over the head with her electric guitar and rock music in the background!?

This is a common point brought up in defense of FLCL. In the words of Maddox, "It's not that I didn't get it (The Matrix in this case), it's just that when I did, I didn't want it anymore."

I did pay attention, and yeah, there is a "story," but it feels tacked on. A boy lives in a boring town, then an alien with a motorized bass smacks him, creating a portal in his head that releases robots. If this was released as a book, no publisher would pick it up. You know why? Because anyone could write a story like that.

An electic action show that pays homages to such diverse sources as John Woo, Desperado, and old kung-fu films while playing jazz music in the background. No, it's not Kill Bill, it's Cowboy Bebop, the best anime ever created.

Yeah, Cowboy Bebop is my favorite anime, next is Case Closed, then Rurouni Kenshin.

Yeah, maybe the storyline was kinda substandard and ultimately hellof hard to follow, but I enjoyede every bit of it.

Funny that I've never seen Cowboy Bebop or whatever.

Anime section? Probably not. Anime topic that may stand a chance of beoming a sticky? Perhaps....

Ah yes Cow Boy beebop..... The fact that it is a good anime but the story is like any other anime.... They all seem to have a similar background.. The fact that the main character dies on the last episode pisses me off. Now im just board with it. I can wach FLCL any day.. I think the best anime in story part is Inuyasha. Its the soap opra of anime.
