I don't mind straying from topic, (espec when Trufun said it's okay) but "hahaha" posts in a serious topic are pretty lame.
Naa, it's cool. Right now I'm working on a top secret project, so Golvellius is on hiatus for a few weeks. The project is relatively small, but it's something that I'd really like to accomplish.
But this topic is going to ensure that I find my way back to Golvellius, asap.

lol, naa, keep it up here, so people will remember to pester me about it.
Well kids, Golvellius development is officially back underway! The programming for Bop N' Pop! 360 Edition is complete, and I'm just waiting on graphics.
Sooo...in the mean time, I'm going to try to knock out another Golvellius video. I spent a couple hours last night coming up with storyboards and a task list.
No details yet, but this is going to be quite an undertaking. If I can pull this off, it should make for a pretty sweet video.

So I was playing some original Golvellius on the SMS last night, and I had an idea. I am seriously lacking in the sound / musical talent department, but I think I might have an out...
What if I used the 8-bit music and sound effects from the original game? It might be a cool mashup to have graphics and sound that are 3 or 4 generations apart.
I haven't really seen this done, but perhaps that's because it's a dumb idea. But, it's an indie game, so what the hell.

What do you guys think?
Give us a demo reel? I'd have to see some luscious video greatness before I weighed in.

Yeah, I might experiment and "fake it" in my next youtube video.
Hey kids, I have FINALLY finished another Golvellius video. This time I'm showing off a boss battle and I'm testing the use of 8-bit sound and music from the original game. I wasn't sure if the 8-bit audio would really work, so it's not actually integrated into the game.
