Don't get 2010, stick with the solid 2008 version imo ;)
I have 2010 pro, got it the other day from msdnaa and i really like it so far, theres some really nice features. Don't be put off getting it ;)
Unless they fixed it, SFML doesn't like 2010. At all. I was trying to get SFML set up, and I kept getting errors. After finally switching back to 2008, it worked. I had everything set up right to.

There's quite alot of things they've changed in 2010, the way you add dependencies is completely different so it may be that there is still bugs in it but maybe you've set it up wrong because the 2008 tuts and set up may not work with 2010. I had no problem using SDL or OpenGL in it. I didn't even have to set it up, it imported all my settings from 2008.

Yeah I just got it when I got win7, and at first I was a little turned off to it, but I've warmed up... I still haven't found the build button, I just run debug to compile for now...

I started this out of curiosity so any platform is valid.

They should make a keyboard with a massive semi-colon button.
I'll make your software hardware.
