Chaos Rift XNA Developers
I know it's been some time since I last posted on here (sorry) but i wanted to get a list pooled together of the members on this forum that develop for xbox/windows phone using XNA. Some of you may know how difficult it is to find other independent developers willing to help test online functionality, and if we get a list going we can know who to ask if anyone needs help testing. Who knows.. maybe no one here uses XNA but if you have a developer membership and wouldn't mind helping others test when needed, please feel free to include your gamertag below! Same goes for me, if you need any help let me know, I would be more than happy to both check out your progress or help test. Thanks guys!

Actually, there are lots of guys around here that use XNA. I'm sure you'll get a bunch of responses.

Yup, I'm working on another XNA game as we speak. The XNA community has a pretty strict set of rules that you must follow in order to get your game approved and on the MarketPlace. I'd be glad to offer up some advice.cypher1554R wrote:I wouldn't count on it. You scared them all off. Remember?GyroVorbis wrote:Actually, there are lots of guys around here that use XNA. Exactly. The XNArs are the ones actually finishing their damn games. The natively compiled camp needs to get their shit together...cypher1554R wrote:I wouldn't count on it. You scared them all off. I'm an XNA dev, but I don't even have an Xbox right now! I sold mine over a year ago and won't be able to get one again until I find a better job.

Re: Chaos Rift XNA Developers
I've also moved on more to phone development from XNA. Been working with MonoDroid and MonoTouch so I can do cross-platform phone development using C# while hitting Android, iPhone, and WP7. My recent ambitions have been more social networking/business-oriented than game-oriented, but that passion still exists for me.
I can definitely recommend XNA as a good platform though. The learning environment/code-samples are educationally invaluable from a mid-high level architecture standpoint (as well as being a fabulous aide for getting shit done). I've found myself relating back to them a great deal.

Re: Chaos Rift XNA Developers
I'm an XNA dev, and I'm not ashamed! I just feel more comfortable with it, than using opengl or pure directx. Atleast for now, I do want to move onto c/c++ for multiplatform development.
