ahahhahaha I remember my first try at opengl. I had... 5 or 6 2D, yes TWO DEE sprites, and I dropped down to like 19FPS. Added another sprite, down to 5FPS. Added another sprite, the game didn't get past the loading screen. 1 Million faces?!?!?!?

Today we have processors that are better than the 80286 and we also have graphic cards Might be a good investment.
Seriously, either your hardware is crap or you did something seriously wrong

If my computer wasn't multi core and my graphics card was low-end or integrated, my terrain benchmark would either;
- crash due to approx. 5 million floating point data being uploaded
- start up then run at 1 fps, and due to the painfully slow graphics on your screen you would cut yourself! ...joking
