I've looked at some of the entries and they look amazing.
But I guess everybody is just waiting to see what confusion the theme will bring

Vatnsmyrkr – Ludum Dare 22 entry [SUBMARINE!]
Erik and I (the guys working on Bottoms Up!, if you've seen it, collectively known as Royal Railway) decided to join the Ludum Dare 22. We went for the jam (team contest), and thus ended up using more than 30 hours in the end (we jumped on board about 18~19 hours late), but I did get a proper night's sleep the second night, so I missed some hours to that.
You control a lonely submarine trying to pick pearls underwater. Avoid bombs, mines and sharks and collect pearls by driving into them. Just watch out when the clams close themselves again! You steer by holding the mouse and moving it into the direction you want to go, and the submarine will follow the cursor.
Here's the Ludum Dare entry. You can download the game for Mac or Windows at the moment:

Oh. Sorry. Didn't see that there was a collective thread for this. I made a separate thread for my entry. Feel free to merge it with this thread, then, if you want to, administrators.

Wow, both of those look... well, beautiful. I'm going to make sure to play them over winter break, provided I don't get distracted by the other games that I've been meaning to play for a while good job guys!
Quit procrastinating and make something awesome.

Thank you both! I guess I can't play your game, Inlinevoid? It's only for Windows, if I'm not mistaken, eh? Either way, I'm going to watch the timelapse. I love that kind of stuff. I love that cloud that follows the character around!
EDIT:
I've watched it now. You have some nice Photoshop techniques and a terrible taste in music.

Never judge a man's taste in music by his choice of background noise while programming.Skomakar'n wrote:I've watched it now. You have some nice Photoshop techniques and a terrible taste in music.
