That's right, you aren't seeing things. No need to wipe your eyes, clear your browser's cache or refresh the page - elysianshadows.com has had a major facelift!

Hello everyone, my name is Daniel and around two months ago I joined the Elysian Shadows development team as the web developer. I have been working closely with the ES team to create a fresh brand identity for Elysian Shadows whilst enabling the community a one-stop place for information relating to Elysian Shadows. Be it development updates, media in the form of screenshots or videos, the team, or most importantly information relating to the story, gameplay mechanics, art, music etc. At the same time I have been working closely with Patryk and the art team to strike a balance between modern web design trends and the 16-bit pixel art style seen in the game.

Those of you who remember how elysianshadows.com used to look will also remember the articles written by some current and some past team members? Well, they still exists. They exists as part of the new sites articles but please bare in mind that some links within the old articles may not work correctly and if you do find any discrepancies please let us know.

I have created the new website to be responsive - which means it should work on every device you choose to visit it on. Unfortunately we don't have access to them all but I have put all my effort in to making sure elysianshadows.com is accessible on as many of them as possible. If you notice any issues with the site please don't hesitate to contact us or visit the website specific topic on the forums

We are very proud of how the new website looks and hope it will help the community keep up to date with the progress of Elysian Shadows. In case you missed it we have a brand new bi-monthly newsletter which the team will be using to update you on the development progress with exclusive screenshots, Kickstarter progress, media coverage and much more!

One thing to note is we allow for social logging in to comment on our posts but be aware that Facebook isn't currently available until we hear back from them. We have been experiencing difficulties with our website's relationship with Facebook for quite some time but we hope to have this resolved soon.

As you may well know the Elysian Shadows development team is preparing for a Kickstarter campaign this Summer which means you should be keeping a close eye on elysianshadows.com, our Facebook, Twitter, Google+, the forums and of course subscribe to our newsletter so you never miss out on Elysian Shadows goodness!
